Our PROGRAMS
Creating lasting change in Northern Uganda

Stop teenage pregnancy project
Funded by CISU Denmark, this project supports girl mothers aged 13, 17 and homeless girls in Oyam District and Lira. We provide counseling, sexual/reproductive health education, and skills training to prevent early pregnancies. Our outreach has educated 600 pupils in Tegony and Dele Primary Schools, while radio campaigns on QFM raise awareness region-wide, earning praise from Miss Uganda and local leaders.
Skills development and vocational training program
We equip girl mothers with practical skills in tailoring and food technology. In just three months, participants have learned to sew simple clothing and operate sewing machines, using cooking equipment to explore food technology. These skills help them avoid negative influences and build sustainable livelihoods.

Rights Awareness and Advocacy Program
Through workshops and school outreaches, we educate communities on their legal and human rights. Our informative sessions focus on mental healing and attitude change for traumatized girls, while primary school programs teach children about health, sanitation, and their responsibilities to prevent dropouts and early pregnancies.
Talent Management Initiative
We identify and nurture talents in arts, crafts, and music, helping individuals turn their skills into income sources. This program builds on our history of crafting products for sale to NGOs, schools, and tourists, fostering economic independence.

Community Support Services
We provide counseling for trauma survivors, health education, and basic necessities to vulnerable groups. For girl mothers, we offer baby-sitting support during training, addressing the challenges of poverty and domestic violence that drive early pregnancies.
