Our Activities and Achievements

Partner Focus: CISU

The “Stop Teenage Pregnancy” project, funded by CISU Denmark through Odense Aftenskole, targets vulnerable girl mothers aged 13 plus 17 and homeless girls under 18 in Icheme Town Council, Oyam District, and Lira. It addresses high rates of teenage pregnancy due to poverty, gender- based violence, and lack of sexual/reproductive knowledge.

Civil Society in Development

CISU – Civil Society in Development is Denmark’s largest memberbased organisation for organisations engaged in global civil society work. Our members collaborate with local partners worldwide to advance a more just world.

Our Approach

We take a holistic approach, providing immediate support while building long-term resilience. Our programs are culturally sensitive, addressing root causes like poverty and trauma, as seen in our work with traumatized girl mothers who need extensive counseling and care.
